Polarity Pulse

Polarity Pulse is a simple Arcade game where you reverse the polarity of your magnet to score as many points as possible! Try to dodge other magnets flying by and pick up upgrades to help you score more points.

There are four power ups you can pick up:
   - Adds 5 to your score;

  - Adds a 5x multiplier;

  - Temporarily slows down time;

  - Pierce through enemies to get extra points.

Multipliers incentivize you to take greater risks by making multiple consecutive moves to get bonus points!

Use space to switch your magnet's polarity!

Polarity Pulse is a game made in about a day for the ScoreSpace Jam #18 - The theme was "Magnetic", and the jam is mostly focused around leaderboards and highscores.
I joined in the last day so it's more of a demo, but I mostly wanted to try implementing leaderboards into a game. The leaderboard was implemented using LootLocker.
All code, sound and graphics were made by me.

With it's simple controls it's pretty mobile proof, and I plan to add some more features I didn't have enough time to add in the jam in the future.
